XER Anonymiser

Strip or pseudonymise the sensitive content in an Oracle Primavera P6 .xer file, names, resources, costs, notes, while keeping the analytical skeleton (logic, dates, durations, float) intact, so the scrubbed file still opens in P6 and in our other tools. For planners in nuclear, defence and commercially sensitive environments who can’t share a real programme but need it analysed.

🔒 Your file is opened in your browser, it is never uploaded, and never leaves your device. Why this is true: this page is static, there is no server to receive a file, and it works offline once loaded.
For the truly cautious: load this page, then disconnect from the network, drop in your file, scrub, and save. Nothing needs a connection.
Scope: this tool anonymises content within the XER. It cannot know what is sensitive in your context, always review the output (and run the residual scan) before release. We assist; we don’t certify.

FAQ

Is my schedule uploaded anywhere?

No. Everything happens in your browser. There is no server to receive the file, and it works offline once the page has loaded.

Will the scrubbed file still open in P6?

Yes, the tool changes only selected field values line-by-line and leaves everything else (including tables/fields it doesn’t recognise) byte-for-byte, so the structure re-imports. It’s tested for structural validity; do trial-import before relying on it.

What is kept?

The analytical skeleton: IDs, logic (predecessors/successors, types, lags), durations, float, percent complete, status, constraint types and calendar working patterns. Only the content you select is changed.
